It won’t be wrong if we says it’s a dream come true for the three female passengers of British Airways who flew from Gibraltar to UK with the rest of the plane empty. Hence, they were upgraded from Economy to Business class.
According to the Daily Mail, the women – who were friends –bought the return ticket for 80 for Economy class but enjoyed the Business class as the cabin crew ushered them into the higher category of the plane which landed at Heathrow Airport with only three passengers onboard the aircraft.
The three gorgeous ladies – Laura Stevens, 34, and her friends Sarah Hunt, 35, and Laurie-Lin Waller, 33 – were treated with three-course meals during the flight.
They were ecstatic and overjoyed for the wonderful treatment they received from the cabin crew of the British Airways.
Laura says they ‘felt like A-listers’ as cabin crew ushered them into business class seats.
“We felt like celebrities, especially when we were given Champagne – it was the best Christmas present ever, we couldn’t believe how kind and lovely everyone was. We were the only people in the departure lounge so staff let us use the executive suite, which is usually reserved for business flight passengers. Then we mentioned how we’d hoped to buy our family gifts at the airport, and staff opened shops so we could browse. It was as though we’d hired out the place just for us,” Laura was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
