DUBAI: Everything is fair in love and far. There are numerous incidences we have heard of and one such took place in New Zealand recently.
According to Kiwi media, American man Evan Henrich did just that, after convincing Akron-Canton Airport in Summit, Ohio, to let him give the carousel a literal whirl in order to propose his sweetheart.
The baggage claim area may not seem the most romantic spot to get down on one knee, but for Henrich and his partner – a fellow aviation enthusiast named Elizabeth – it was the perfect setting, Stuff.co.nz reported.
A video, shot by the couple’s pal Stephen Veillette, shows Elizabeth flipping through a handmade book about the pair’s relationship, before a man walks up with a bunch of flowers.
Moments later, a special delivery arrives on the baggage carousel: It’s Henrich, strumming a guitar.
