India’s low-cost airline IndiGo has reported delay in its flights due to congestions and inclement weather.
“Due to congestion at Mumbai, our flights are delayed. As a result consequential delays are expected. Check flight status (prior to coming to the airport),” it tweeted.
The budget carrier earlier announced that few of its flights were delayed due to bad weather in Varnasi.
“Due to bad weather at Varanasi, few of our flights to & fro have been cancelled. You may also check your flight status via our website,” it tweeted.
Headquartered in Gurgaon, IndiGo is the largest airline in India in terms of passengers carried, with a 42.6% market share as of October 2016. The airline operates to 41 destinations and is the second largest low-cost carrier in Asia. It has its primary hub at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.
