Dubai Duty Free announced two lucky winners for its Millennium Millionaire promotion and three winners for the Finest Surprise promotion at the draw held on Tuesday in Concourse B at Dubai International Airport.
The 1st lucky million dollar winner of the day in Series 230 with ticket no. 2135 is Sonia Sheth from Mumbai, India. On receiving a telephone call from Dubai Duty Free to tell her the good news, she had no words to say, but exclaimed: “I can’t believe I won a million dollars. I’m still shaking”.
Another fortunate US$1 million winner in Series 231 is Souheil Samir Resto, a Syrian national and holder of ticket no. 1283. He was not available for immediate comment, so his surprise still awaits.
In the Finest Surprise draw, Chou Liao Ter, a 65–year-old from Taiwan won a Bentley Continental GT V8 (Dark Sapphire) in Series 1638 with ticket no. 625. A regular participant in the promotion, Liao never misses the chance to buy a Finest Surprise ticket when traveling from Dubai.
The second Finest Surprise winner is Rashpal Chadham, an Indian national based in Kuwait. An accountant by profession, Chadham won a Porsche Cayenne S (Meteor Grey Metallic) in Series 1639 – ticket no. 947 which he bought online. The father of two, who is travelling back to India to celebrate his 12th wedding anniversary, is very much looking forward to visiting Dubai soon to claim his new car.
Last but not least, the winner of the Ducati Superbike 959 (Red) is a Sri Lankan national, Shahul Hameed, in Series 293 – ticket no. 977.
