Kenya Airways has announced that its flights are back to normal after its technicians staged a go-slow protest on Monday.
“We wish to advise that our flight schedule has returned to normalcy this evening. We thank you for your continued support and regret any inconvenience caused by earlier disruptions. Our technicians who staged a go-slow (protest) earlier today have returned to work and remain a vital part of our business,” the carrier said.
The airline had issued an alert two hours earlier, advising passengers to expect some flight cancellations and few delays due to technicians’ strike.
“88 flights have taken off from across the network by 6pm. We continue to manage the few disrupted flights and are advising the affected guests directly,” the national carrier of Kenya tweeted two hours ago.
