LONDON: If you’re travelling with British Airways from Gatwick airport, then this news for you.
The British carrier will shift all of its operations from North to the South Terminal at Gatwick airport from tomorrow.
“By 25 January 2017, all British Airways flights from London Gatwick will have moved from the North to the South Terminal,” it said in a statement.
Some flights moved in advance of this date. BA2273/2 to and from New York (JFK) moved from 11/12 January and BA2712/3 to and from Naples moved from 19 January.
British Airways flights also operate to and from London Heathrow Terminals 3 and 5, London City and London Stansted.
The British Airways departures area is located in Zone A in Gatwick’s South Terminal. Passengers must meet the following times, or they will not be allowed to travel:
- Check-in closes 45 minutes before your flight departs. If you have bags to check in, please take them to Bag Drop in Zone C.
- Pass through security at least 35 minutes before your flight departs.
- Be at the boarding gate at least 20 minutes before your flight departs. Please check how long it will take you to get to the gate. If we have your contact details, we will try to contact you when it is about to close but we can’t delay the aircraft’s departure to wait for late passengers.
