MONTREAL: Air Canada announced that it had solved technical glitch which resulted in delays in a number of flights on Tuesday.
The airline tweeted that it’s adding bigger planes in order to accommodate the number of passengers.
“The IT system hardware problem affecting check-in earlier this afternoon has been resolved. Some flights were delayed due to checking in manually. However, we expect to get everyone to their destinations with minimal delay as we are adding larger aircraft where possible and were able to limit cancellations to a small handful of flights,” the airline said in a statement on Tuesday.
“We thank our customers for their patience and apologise for any inconvenience. Customers should check the airline’s website for status of their flight,” said the statement.
